If it is consumed 2 x 2 softgels per day, so in one week (7 days) it will be 8.4 grams of Omega 3 which is appropriate with the suggestion (> 7 grams per week).
Natural substance that is used by Nutrilite is definitely a positive value compared to other similar products which use synthetic material. Natural raw material has cis fatty acid, whereas synthetic material contains trans fatty acid which is not good for our health (it can cause plaque in blood vessels and derive free radical).
The composition of EPA and DHA in Salmon Omega 3 is also ideal, which is 180:120 or 3:2, suitable for body need.

Is nutrilite omega 3 is freed from heavy metals found in cold water fishes,any processing is done to remove this.
a patient reported that he is consuming salmon omega 3 for last 3 years, recently he devloped nephropathy raisig his serum creatinine to 5.0, could thi be attributed to salmon omega 3.

Hi Panchami. Based on my knowledge and experience, Nutrilite Salmon Omega 3 is actually good for children but is not very suggested, because in some cases it won’t be safe. Why? Because the substance of Salmon Omega 3 has characteristic of diluting the blood (make the blood thin). For children diluted blood is not very good, since they used to play and can get scar and the blood will not be easy to stop. That’s why it is not very recommended for children.
By the way, what substance do you actually want to give to the 1 year old baby? Please let me know, maybe there is a substituion for Salmon Omega 3 from Nutrilte products to fulfill that. Does this baby suffer of heart disease?

As nutrition, Omega 3 is still required by pregnanct women. But Salmon Omega 3 has characteristic of making the blood thinner (diluted). And the condition of thin blood is not very good for pregnant woman, especially when the time is coming for giving birth. It can cause blooding. So that is why the timing and the dosage of consuming Salmong Omega 3 is very important to be consulted with doctor first.

May I know what is the timing and dosage that you mentioned above? As we are quite concern about it. My wife was taking Nutrilite Salmon Omega 3 in her previous 5 months pregnancy period and we just noticed that it is not recommended for pregnant women. She is planning for caesarian delivery.
